Design Tips
Thanks to Xbook’s simple and easy-to-use software, you can now create a unique masterpiece, a quality photobook album.
No prior design knowledge is required, only very basic computer skills.
Here are some of our special tips to assist you in creating your photobook album with the most professional results.
- The individual photo quality is crucial as it directly affects the quality of the finished product – the photobook album. Please note the little warning signs on the recommended quality of the photos as you insert them into the various layouts.
- When inserting a photo onto the layout, by right clicking the mouse button you get to the tools option. You can choose to rotate, fit in, or edit the photo by zooming in on a certain section, altering the brightness or contrast of the image.
- For the more computer savvy individuals, please feel free to optimize your image as you see fit with any other software such as photoshop, illustrator or even picasa and then import them into the Xbook photobook album.
- Choosing the right cover photo for your Xbook photobook! It is most important to use only the highest quality photo for the cover image as it is relatively large and probably has the most impact. If you don’t have photos of the required quality you may want to consider using one of the many cover designs we offer and insert your photo there, that way it is smaller and a lower quality image will do.
